Skintific - Miss_LunaYee review for 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to try out a skincare brand called Skintific and believe me, this brand was new to me because I've never heard or seen its name before. Initially, I thought it was a Korean brand because I've been seeing many new k-brands hopping into the skincare market but I later did some research on the internet and discovered that it was a skincare brand formulated in Canada so now, I want to give a brief intro about Skintific. (The name sounds so sci-fi to me though 😀) SKINTIFIC is a skincare brand formulated by a group of scientists in Canada who were committed and research-proven to provide fast and safe results for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Niacinamide to decrease inflammation and control oil production. Oh, I can sense that it's soon going to be my favourite brand because its products are absolutely amazing! Especially how they're formulated. Today's review is about the Skintific 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner. This will be my second exfoliating toner to consist of 5% AHA BHA PHA. The last exfoliating toner I used was the Tiam AHA BHA PHA one which was my first ever one and since then, I've been a fan of exfoliating toners because they help a lot with brightening skin, reducing blackheads and whiteheads, etc. 💗About Skintific 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner 80ml: An exfoliating toner that contains a good ratio of acid, a combination of total 5% AHA BHA PHA that is able to gently exfoliate the dead skin cells. Contains a good blend of good-for-skin acids & Probiotic Complex work together to remove dirt, impurities and dead skin cells, it improves rough skin texture & dullness. The Probiotic Complex also known as Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate(GFF), active ingredients known as Pitera in SK-II balances skin microbiome, strengthens skin barrier, treats and prevents acnes & bumps for a heathier glowy looking skin. Also added in this exfoliating toner's formula is Niacinamide and Ceramide to help control oil production, treat skin inflammation and protect skin barrier, keeping it healthy and well balanced. Though this toner contain acids, worry not as it doesn’t cause any tingling effect on the skin nor does it dry out or irritate the skin. Lastly, I just want to do a quick round up of its benefits: 1) Quickly relieves acne, 2) Cleans the pores, remove dead skin cells, and make the skin smoother, 3) Removes blackheads and whiteheads, 4) Renews skin cells, reduce fine lines, 5) Restores the natural functions of the skin and make the skin brighter. Gosh, this exfoliating toner is lit! 💗Key Ingredients: 2% AHA👉Effectively remove dead skin cells on the skin surface, increase collagen production and skin regeneration as well as helping to treat and prevent new acne from forming. 2% BHA👉Deeply cleanses the pores, penetrates sebum and prevents acne. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is a natural skin-calming agent. 1% PHA👉A safe chemical exfoliant for sensitive skin. It exfoliates the outermost layer of skin, smooths and diminishes fine lines. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)👉A smart, multi-purpose, non irritating ingredient. Due to its anti inflammatory and oil control properties, it's able to treat inflammation caused by acne and control oil production. 💗Texture: It's runny, very fast absorbing and doesn't leave any tacky residue. I love how it goes into the skin nicely. 💗Packaging: Ok, let me be honest here. The moment my eyes laid on its pretty purple packaging, girl, I have to say that was the prettiest packaging I've ever seen! It has a soft purple colour to it and that minimalist aesthetic which I completely love! The bottle is made from a good quality purple colour frosted plastic while its cap has a nice matte finish and on the front of the bottle is a label with the brand and product's name along with its features printed on.The print matches the unit carton and there's a nice cohesiveness to the packaging. Upon opening the cap, there's a stopper to cover its dispense hole. The liquid dispenses well though so I don't have any 'dispensing' issue with this bottle. Very travel size friendly too! Moving on to its unit carton which it's made from a clear plastic box, it shares the same print, colour and design as the bottle packaging. Information can be found around the box and although it's not in anyway fancy looking, I do love its minimalist aesthetic. The overall packaging designs were absolutely lovely and Skintific did a great job to match their products design to their own unit cartons. I have to say that I like the consistency shown across their products and packaging units and I also have to say that their products have a very aesthetic appeal. 💗Scent: It has a slightly strong alcohol scent. But nothing irritable to me. 💗Who is Skintific 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner for? For those with dull skin, pigmentations, acne and troubled skin. (¯`·._.·Personal Experiences·._.·´¯) I love a good exfoliating toner. Gone are the days where physical exfoliators were in play. In the olden days, you could see them on TV ads, on social media platforms, etc and no one knew the danger of using these harsh scrubs until chemical exfoliants were introduced and became a global game changer for the entire skincare market. I've tried chemical exfoliants twice and the Skintific 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner is my second one. Currently, my skin is having some breakouts due to my diet and hot weather so I needed a toner that would exfoliate, treat and tone my skin at the same time and this Skintific Exfoliating Toner came in time. For several days in a row, I used this toner religiously and I noticed the improvements it made to my skin. So on the first day, my skin had breakouts and some pustules.They were red and also made my skin feel pain. And after using this exfoliating toner daily, the inflammation reduced and my acne gradually went down.The pustules also started to shrink and some of the newly formed acne scars began to fade off slowly. So slow that I don't know when because scars really do take a good amount of time to disappear. The soothing effect by this toner is really great too as it helped to soothe the inflammed skin area. Another thing to note about this toner is that my face looked cleaner and more radiant after using it every single day. My skin always looks dull but with this exfoliating toner, my complexion looked better! As for the blackheads and whiteheads, there isn't much improvement despite its claims. In a nutshell, the Skintific 5% AHA BHA PHA Exfoliating Toner was a very good exfoliating toner and played its part well. It did everything as per its description despite not doing well enough to remove blackheads and whiteheads so I was a tad bit disappointed at that. But I couldn't stay disappointed for long at this toner because it really helped to deal with my breakouts, acne scars and revitalise my dull skin. Furthermore, the key ingredients and the formula of this exfoliating toner was the Bomb! Should I finish this toner, I would definitely get another! Ratings of 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars!
