This product is quickly becoming a favourite! Jouviance is a cruelty-free Canadian skincare line, started by a physician and a biochemist in 2003. This is available internationally. The serum has no real discernible scent. It has a thicker consistency and spreads beautifully. The second image shows what is dispensed in one pump, which is enough for my face. I use an additional half-pump for my neck. It leaves skin feeling silky smooth, with the benefit of having stabilized Vitamin C/Vitamin C derivative - so you feel like you’re indulging both sensorially and in treatment. There are a few key ingredients in this one, specifically: Ethyl Ascorbic Acid-highly stable Vitamin C derivative that acts as an antioxidant, skin brightener, and collagen booster with strong tyrosinase inhibition, helping to battle hyperpigmentation Propanediol-a natural solvent, emollient, preservative, humectant and absorption enhancer Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid-a low molecular weight, chemically chopped up version of naturally large molecule Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Hyaluronate-a large molecule from repeated subunits (polymer) that is said to bind up to 1000 times its weight in hydration Caprylyl Glycol-a humectant that is also used to achieve desired consistencies and extend shelf life of product I layer this over Retin A, essence, and Hydroquinone. Once absorbed, I double up on the Vitamin C with a Vitamin C derivative moisturizer. My skin and I both love this one!
