Honestly, I was surprised by this mask! My BFF gave it to me for my birthday because we both love matcha everything. The first time I opened it the fragrance was strong, so I thought it would be an immediate no for me. But I tried it anyway and to my surprise, I actually loved it! Once it’s on your face the fragrance fades away, thankfully. It says it’s a detoxifying mask, but I would actually say that this is more of a calming mask for my skin. I do feel like my pores are cleaned out after using this mask, but the most noticeable difference for me is the calming and soothing effect it has on my skin. I have mild rosacea and it really helps to calm all the redness in my cheeks. The calming effect mostly comes from the matcha since it’s the star ingredient, but this also has hemp seed oil in it which is also very calming for my skin. It’s a great combo! It’s also a large tube for a small price, so it’s a great value. I’ll be using this weekly for quite a while.
