UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA ++++
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭: Bioré Watery Essence SPF 50
𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: this is a popular Japanese sunscreen with amazingly watery, light texture. Has a refreshingly non-sticky & light skin feel, absorbs quickly, leaves no white cast. Infused with Hyaluronic Acid & Royal Jelly Extract. Allergy tested, gentle fragrance of white muguet.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
•4 chemical sunscreen protection factors, including Tinosorb s (broad-spectrum, very photo-stable) and Uvinul T 150 (gives highest photo-stable absorption of all available UVB filters)
•glycerin, arginine and sodium hyaluronate to help retain and draw in moisture
𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
•broad spectrum protection from the sun
•moisturises the skin

✅: Before I start, would just like to mention that this sunscreen has passed the sun protection factor test (due to recent scandals, many sunscreen had been tested and Bioré came out with a factor of 55.5).
This is one of the most affordable sunscreen I could find so I had to give it a shot, despite some of the ingredients not usually being ones I’d go for in a formulation. However, this has ended up being an amazing, cheap and effective SPF! It has the most beautiful texture I’ve ever seen - so jelly like, and glides on the skin. Because it’s lightweight, it works so good for the hotter summer days! It leaves no white cast on the skin once you work it in a bit and leave it for two minutes (I have a deep skin tone so this is very important to me)! It works nicely to moisturise my skin as well, though my dry skin cannot use this by itself - however, I can now use a more lightweight gel moisturiser and then this SPF and it’s a perfect lightweight combo that doesn’t suffocate my face. It does not leave any greasy feeling, I can barely feel it on my face. I know that my oily peeps will love this one, and I would honestly recommend this sunscreen if you are on a budget!
❎: So talking about the ingredients I like to avoid, this sunscreen has two of them - alcohol and fragrance. Fragrance isn’t so high on the list (towards the bottom) so it wasn’t a massive concern, and my skin had no reaction to it. However, alcohol is quite high and it does smell a bit like alcohol to be honest. It scared me at first but my face didn’t have any reaction to it. The one thing I would say that it is drying because of the alcohol so it’s key I always wear a moisturiser. I wish the alcohol content was lower but I can’t complain so much due to its price.
