This is a natural scrub that heats up on the skin to help open clogged pores and gently exfoliates skin while also controlling sebum production. As you apply it to your skin, it warms skin with a thermal heat. It isn’t too hot, just slightly warm and calming. The salt/sugar particles are pretty small and are good for gentle exfoliation, while the blueberry extract & birch sap helps soothe and moisturize skin. The 5 types of seaweed are helpful for reducing oiliness. I put on a light layer on slightly damp skin and leave it on for 5 minutes. Then I lightly massage my face, concentrating on my nose to remove blackheads and impurities. It washes off easily and leaves skin very soft. My skin looks brighter and more smooth, and pore size is reduced. It is recommended for use in the shower, as the steam helps absorb product, but I used it at night after cleansing 1x per week. I think it gives you a spa or sauna experience as skin feels very calm and it reduces redness around my cheek area, while also making pores look smaller.
