This toner has a watery texture which absorbs right away into the skin. It does not quite moisturize my skin with only one layer. So I usually put more than one layer. But it is still perfect for CSM. It's a gentle exfoliating toner that in my case, I can use eveyday and it doesn't cause any irritation.
