Pasion4kpop review for Houttuynia Cordata Extract

This brand features one single ingredient per product, as its name suggests. In this case we can find an extract used as toner/mist whatever you want to name it, made of houttuynia cordata, also called heartleaf. This ingredient is a multipurpose well-known in Korean beauty. It has antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. So for that reason it helps in many circumstances such as in removing blemishes, controlling acne and oily skin. Besides the great hydrating and soothing properties it is said to help in certain special skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, rashes, eczemas etc... In my case. I don't have such problems so I can't tell, but in my case it has helped a lot keeping sebum at bay. And when I have a spot I use it directly with a cotton swab. Also helps when I have redness and/or irritated skin. Sometimes I use it directly from hands to face, but when I need a boost of hydration (or to calm my redness) sometimes I use it on a cotton sheet as a mask. And sometimes as I said, as a spot treatment with a cotton swab. The texture is just like water, runny but easy to use with hands, and the smell, well... I don't like it... some say is a herbal smell, but to me is like something fermented and strong, such as fish?!? But this may be just me 😅, I gave this toner to family and they say smells herbal. No artificial, just as natural as grass. I purchased it in Yesstyle and I directly did it in the jumbo size because I knew I would love it right away. And yes, I'm loving it and I still have a good amount because a little goes a long way.
