Restore Healing Balm
Basically, it’s your average ointment. It can be used on dry skin or lips, scrapes, cuts, scratches, tattoos, tame flyaway hairs, soothe diaper rash, etc.
But it’s a much simpler version of what you always see! It is made with only THREE ingredients: Castor Seed Oil, Glycerin, and Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax)
A little goes a long way so not much is needed (unless you really need it). I use it mainly to hydrate my dry lips as well as heels, knees, and elbows. And it does its job! There is no superficial fragrance so you are not overwhelmed with smell.
Its also gluten-free and safe for those with eczema (in fact, it was awarded the National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance by the NEA!).
It is pretty pricey - their 0.5 oz aluminum tube is $30, and the 4 oz tube (the one I have is $66). So it is definitely like a “treat yourself” skincare product. But if you have the means to get it, I highly recommend it!
Another con is the packaging which is why I gave it four stars. Because it’s packaged in an aluminum tube, when you puncture it, product does fall out and you kind of have to catch it before it all just spills out 😅
EDIT:
I cannot remember where I found this tip, but apparently to help prevent the product overflow for these aluminum tubes is to store it laying down or on its side versus vertically/standing up!
