I tried this product for small pimples and inflammatory acne. It took 2 days for the small pimple to dry out and blow away and it took more than 5 days to soothe the inflamed and dry pimple completely, so it didn't hurt and had a calming effect. The consistency of the liquid gel makes it easier to blend and absorb into the skin. No strange smell.
