You don't need to worry about the granules, it is really small and it melts quickly if you use this with wet skin. My skin usually turned red if I use any kind of face scrub thus why I don't like to use them, but with this cleanser my skin feels fine and I don't see any red marks on my face. This cleanser produces a light form which I adore. I pour enough into my hands and give a little water & rub it first until it foams & applies tit o the face. This cleanses my skin so well, It removes dirt, sunscreen, and makeup easily but doesn't dry me out nor does it leave a tight and squeaky clean feeling. It makes my skin clean, smooth & looks bright. After I incorporated this into my routine, I have fewer clogged pores and my skin texture has improved a lot.
