Re: the matte version of these - seriously the best liquid lipstick I’ve ever tried, though to be fair I tend to stay away from this genre after a few very underwhelming experiences. This one, though, I love it. I picked it up in shade Elson 4, a blue-red that apparently Taylor Swift herself wears (it didn’t give me any urge to write monothematic emo pop songs, though). It looks fantastic, great pigmentation, doesn’t highlight lines or textures or anything, though you might still want to exfoliate beforehand… I didn’t because I like to live dangerously, and I think it turned out okay! It does transfer but not too badly, and it has reasonable staying power; I was in slight need of a touch up on hour 5, and looking pretty busted by hour 7 (I did have a small snack over those 7 hours but nothing too elaborate).
