I have not tried the normal version of Makeup Re-Wined, but I did try the release of the pilot version. It wasn’t quite the texture they were going for, but it works the same, so instead of wasting a huge batch of it they packaged it up and sold it for half price. I loved this concept so I had to get it! I thought the texture was amazing! It’s not quite an oil cleanser and not quite a cleansing balm, it’s somewhere in between. It’s really silky and smooth on skin, felt really nice actually! It doesn’t sting or blur eyes and has just a faint natural grape smell that I actually really enjoyed. It removed all kinds of makeup and sunscreen with ease, practically just melted it off. In terms of removing makeup especially, this is probably one of the easiest and most effective cleansers I’ve tried. So if you wear makeup this is a great one to try! It emulsifies nicely with a little bit of water and washes off cleanly. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft.
