This mask was created to celebrate I’m from’s 10th anniversary, and combines the moisturizing elements of the honey mask with the gentle exfoliation of the fig scrub mask. It combines brown sugar and walnut shell powder with 20% honey so the physical exfoliation is very gentle. Fig powder adds some additional exfoliation (so does the honey, actually) while shea butter, glycerin, and beta-glucan ensure plenty of hydration. Application-wise, the Hug Mask is definitely less messy than the Honey Mask. The tube format plus the scrub-like grittiness make it easier to apply. Once applied, the mask stays in place and doesn’t dry down at all (I leave it on for about 20 minutes). After washing off my face is soft and smooth.
