Herbloom - PickyKeWe review for Green Clear Vegan Cleansing Oil to Foam

When I saw Herbloom’s minimalistic packaging design for their Green Clear Vegan Cleansing Oil to Foam Cleanser, I got those cute retro vibes… so I had to give the video the same vibes, I hope you like it… 🥸But wait: -Oil-to-foam? An oily gel cleanser? The texture got me hooked. So… there are 2 (or 3) ways of using this to cleanse your skin 1. use as a first cleanse on dry skin, it will foam up on its own or 2. use on damp skin, just like a foam cleanser either way, it‘s meant to remove light make up, sunscreen and any other daily impurities, it‘s gentle and moisturizing… with heavier make up, I recommend a third use: 3. after an oil based cleaser (liquid oil or balm) 👩🏼‍🔬Naturally derived triple acids (AHA, BHA, PHA) and Papaya Extract give me mild exfoliation and yes, it helps with unclogging pores quite well.
🫧The surfactant derived from Coconut lifts off impurities without drying out or itrritating my skin, which happens regularly with foaming cleansers that claim to exfoliate. without irritating or stripping the skin dry. 🧈The plant-based oils (Evening Primrose for example) in this cleanser are great for my combo skin with a tendency to dehydration.
🌿Herbloom uses their „Green Clear Complex“ - A blend of plant extracts including Moringa Seed Oil, Green Tea, and the Papaya Extract mentioned above that helps to get me a radiant complexion while cleansing. 🥛Panthenol - A form of Vitamin B5 that binds and holds water, just like Glycerin which is the second ingredient. ❌no drying alcohol, no fragrance… ✍🏻final verdict: interesting formulation and texture, a watery oily gel… Very gentle. Strong recommendation for sensitive, dehydrated and/or dry skin. I used it twice back to back for this and there was no dryness or irritation!
