It is a creamy velvet tint that gives a soft blurring tint and helps cover up lip wrinkles leaving a gorgeous matte finish. I find the title of the shade so fitting as it reminds me of the red hot chillies, only with a better effect. It applies easily and is lightweight but I find it a bit drying for my dry lips, though it should generally be ok for normal lips. I prep my lips with a balm before using the tint so it’s really not an issue. I don’t normally wear dark shades but I purposely chose this to experiment and I’m so happy I did. The shade is so pretty and versatile. It can create a gradient/diffused lips or can be worn like a classic full coverage matte lipstick—just be creative and get the lip look of your choice! If you’re not into deep shades, don’t be intimidated by the pigmented and bright colour. It definitely looks deep but leaves a very soft, blurred and modest stain for really long hours. It has a very light scent which goes unnoticed. Overall, I love this lip tint and highly recommend to mostly warm and neutral toned skin.
