Nix It Complexion Solution
First off, this has a lot of great ingredients for acne like tea tree oil, lemon, salicylic acid and a bunch more. It has an oil texture, which makes sense considering it has a lot of different oils in it. I really liked the premise of this product because it reminded me of some of my favorite spot treatments like tea tree oil (I usually get this in a roller ball applicator form) and E.l.f.’s acne fighting gel (similar applicator and ingredients). Overall, I really liked this product for it’s ingredients and it is, for me, gradually effective at diminishing blemishes.
there were a few things that I didn’t like that’ll probably stop me from repurchasing. Having dry skin, I don’t mind that the product is oil based, but I found that it takes forever to absorb! And with spot treatments in general, it’s more effective to apply them before other products so it is the closest it can be to the surface of the blemish, but with this I had to apply it last or else it would move around and just mix in with my later products (serum, moisturizer, etc.). An additional con for me was the applicator. I don’t know if I just wasn’t applying it right or if I happen to get a faulty one, but the applicator was so difficult to use; I really wish they had just used a traditional roller ball with this. The applicator made it hard to tell if any product was coming out and I often squeeze out way more than I needed.
