Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask
The hydrogel material worked nicely to help keep this mask moist for the duration I had it on. Felt like a longer and more sustained use of the hydroboost products I’ve tried in the past and I found that it didn’t irritate my skin which can tend towards sensitivity.
A big plus is that it’s an easy to find mask in stores that carry other Neutrogena products in NE United States.
The essence in this mask is very watery which was a surprise and unfortunately I spilled a decent amount of it. Since the hydrogel material doesn’t absorb very much on it’s own you need to get the essence out of the pouch and pat it into your skin before applying the mask, which is fine but took quite a while. It also took a while for the mask material to cling to my face, not sure if it was because of the watery essence, one of products I applied beforehand, or if the material isn’t quite as pliable as some other hydrogels.
