I received the Neostrata Bionic Face Cream for free from Influenster and Neostrata in exchange for my honest review. The Bionic Face Cream comes in a 40g/1.4 fl oz tube with a flip top and retails for $66. Intended for dry, sensitive skin, it contains a 12% PHA blend of gluconolactone and lactobionic acid, a natural humectant providing intense hydration. Key Ingredients: 🔸 Gluconolactone 🔸 Lactobionic Acid 🔸 Meadowfoam Seed Oil 🔸 Petrolatum 🔸 Algae extract 🔸 Hydrogenated Lecithin This is an emollient balm-like moisturizer that is fragrance free, that soothes reactive or mature skin. You only need at most a pea-sized amount to apply on the face and neck . If you use more, you might find it a little greasy. I used this for 2 weeks after cleansing and applying the Bionic face serum at night only (you can use 2x daily) because of the rich, thick texture can be too much in the daytime. It thought it goes on smoothly, absorbing into the skin quickly, leaving a light protective layer to seal in moisture. It is so soothing and calms rough or flaky skin. One of the ingredients is Petrolatum (petroleum jelly), which is a very effective occlusive that offers great hydration to dry and irritated skin. This product does contain other ingredients, and doesn’t clog pores, but considering the cost, it is expensive for a fancy Vaseline. It works well if you want to try skin “slugging”, but not at this price point. I like how it holds in moisture, since I get dry patches in the winter months on my cheeks and around my nose. This cream will be definitely continue to be used for those issues or to soothe irritated skin. It makes my skin feel hydrated and silky smooth, so it does work for my skin.
