Tartelette Tubing Mascara
I've been experimenting with different mascaras. Trying to find my holy grail. This is the first tubing mascara I've tried. I've found I really like the Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara. I have it in black. It does a pretty good job of evenly coating my lashes and not clumping. The formula is not so liquid that it makes a mess and smudges everywhere. It's the perfect consistency to give my lashes a nice thick length. I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking either. Which is important.
I think the light purple tube with the silver design on the lid is pretty. It's perfect for a girly girl with a wild side to her. The wand's brush is thin but long. It tapers down to a point. Making it easy to get into the narrow spots to coating all of your lashes.
It's suggested to use this mascara by coating your lashes, wait a few seconds and then put another coat on before it dries. Which is how I used this. The result is nice.
I wouldn't say it's bad, but it is kind of a tubing mascara. When I wash it off it's like washing off normal mascara. But there will be a few tube like pieces that come off. I use a cleansing balm or oil to make sure it's all been removed.
