It also contains other soothing ingredients like Panthenol and Centella. These do have essential oils and the scent is herbal. My experience: I have to admit that these are disappointing. First, packaging was leaking when they arrived. Inner protective seal was broken, but I got a full refund from the retailer. I can still use them, they just don't have that extra liquid in the jar. Second, I didn't expect essential oils in this. I thought these were unscented as serum from this line. Third, they are not soothing and hydrating as I expected. I also wish pads were thinner. They are soft, with one smooth side, and the other side is empossed for gentle exfoliation. They are okay, but not the best toner pads on the market. I won't repurchase these.
