Liiililac review for Bean Essence

✨Let's start with what the brand says: ▪️Gentle essence, best for exfoliating and hydrating textured skin with zero skin irritation. ▪️Vegan & cruelty-free. ▪️Free from alcohol and artificial fragrance. ▪️Fungal Acne Safe. ✨Key ingredients: ▪️Fermented SOYBEAN. ▪️Fermented BARLEY. ▪️Fermented POMEGRANATE. ▪️Fermented KOREAN PEAR. ✨Fermentation breaks down the size of the ingredient particles and increases the absorption. ‼️ Now... This is advertised as a 2 IN 1 ESSENCE. 🔸Exfoliating Essence. 🔹Hydrating Essence. 🔸For exfoliation it says that contains natural AHAs from the fermented pomegranate and it's advised to gently massage on the face until dead skin residue rubs off. (Which I think will also work as a physical exfoliation) And then wipe off all residue with a toner pad. 🔹For hydration can be used daily tapping the essence into the skin. ❗️🙋🏻‍♀️In my experience, this essence fell short compared to all the hype it received from social media. ▪️When rubbing my face to use it as an exfoliant I can't tell that something came out of my skin, or if it's the product itself that's peeling. ▪️On the other hand, yes it is hydrating and leaves the skin plump, but I can't use it every day because the texture it's too much for my combination skin and it takes forever to absorb. 🔺This is the first product I try from this brand and although it hasn't totally convinced me, I would like to try other products, but... I think they're a little expensive.
