This product was gifted for free by Stripped Beauty in exchange for my honest review. You’ve probably heard me talk about this product before on the Picky app, and with good reason. The name originates from ‘stripped back skincare’ and wanting to make products without any filler ingredients. This product does an amazing job of that, with only five ingredients in the formula. Not a single product costs more than $30. I love that it’s a woman owned business. I’m not usually big on fragranced skincare, but I adored the subtle citrus (orange especially) scent to this product. It occurs naturally from the citrus peel oil ingredient in the formula. No added fragrance! Plus I adore how the ingredients are incredibly minimal compared to a lot of options on the market. I’m someone with dry leaning skin, and any time a dry patch shows up, I use this before bed, and the patch is gone in the morning. My skin feels nice and hydrated in the morning. If you’re looking for a lightweight oil to add some moisture to your routine, definitely give this one a try! You can use it in place of a serum (my favorite way to use it), or after a moisturizer to really seal that moisture in overnight. If you’re curious if this works for acne prone skin, I say definitely! Not only do I deal with dry skin, but I also deal with acne as well. Plus the creator of the brand dealt with cystic acne, and was inspired to create the line to combat her acne. And it worked! Her skin looks amazing, and I love every product that I’ve gotten to try. This is definitely one of my top five products to try out from Stripped!
