Bonding Oil with Amla Oil

product review positives
I received the Shea Moisture Bond Repair Amla Hair Oil complimentary in exchange for my honest review through TopBox Marketing. I have dry hair and always use oils to help tame frizz and make my hair look shiny and defined. I prefer heavier oils, since my hair is coarse and can handle a bit of weight. I find this oil to be a little light for my hair type. This helps with some frizz, but does not eliminate it as I would like. I have used this when my hair is wet and I scrunch it, and the results was little definition with some shine and minimal frizz control. Adding it when my hair is dry is a little more helpful, but again I have had greater success from other oils. I have tried using a larger quantity each use, but I've seen little improvement. I used this along with the shampoo, conditioner, masque and leave-in conditioner of the same line and this is my least favorite product. If I'm going to choose an oil from Shea Moisture, I would prefer the Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Ultra Moisture Oil, which I also received complimentary, as it does a better job at defining my waves and taming my frizz. This does claim to help improve the strength of the hair, so maybe continued use will help improve the results of styled hair.
