The liquid has an herbal/medicinal scent, which isn't a surprise for Hemp Seed. If you've never smelled Hemp, it's lightly reminiscent of oregano. As with all of Abib's essences thus far--I've been using them for approximately 1 whole week. It has a light texture, definitely penetrating to the skin. The packaging is minimalistic with the sleek chic look. Singular solid colors backed by bold text. ✅What I love? Ideally this is a superfood great for all skin types. Oily, dry, sensitive or combo...this works on us all. After the dry down, the product soaks to create a baby soft sensation. Definitely lovely to experience. I like to use it after a stressful day when my skin needs a little more TLC! The scent, as herbal, is very relaxing to me. I'm definitely into the whole Hemp craze. I've been a fan of NYX "Bare With Me" Face Primer/Moisturizer and I can say that I hardly reach for it as much when I use this product. Cleansing, toning, light serums & this essence is perfect! Another lovely thing--this essence can double as a pain-relieving serum. I cut my finger with a kitchen knife trying to make dinner and I ended up using a little of this for the anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties. I read a similar review where someone cut their hand when they were playing with their kitty--so, I wanted to see if it would help. Not only was the pain gone, the irritation disappeared. By the afternoon, it started to heal and scab over. The following day it was healed completely. Definitely a magical concoction in a bottle. Adding it as is, is great but I'm definitely going to be dropping a few drops into my Moisturizer and hand creams.
