These toner pads are very well saturated with essence and don't have much of a smell. They have both a smooth side and an embossed side, if you prefer a little extra exfoliation. A feature I always appreciate with toner pads, which these include, is a little holder in the lid for the tweezers, to keep things mess-free. The pads themselves are very hydrating, and I haven't experienced any irritation from the LHA.
