The first time I used it the entire left side of my face broke out into multiple tiny pimples. I thought it was because the moisturizer was too heavy for my oily skin, but I didn’t want to give up on this product and in the end it actually started healing my skin. The initial purge was strange since there are no actives in here that could cause that, so beware to those with oily skin that are prone to clogged pores- this could be too thick of a cream! I personally didn’t think it was that heavy once my acne went away and I gave it another go. I didn’t reach for this much when my skin was at its baseline but it was a lifesaver for my nighttime routine while I’m using Differin. My skin barrier is dry, dehydrated, sensitive, and red and I use this to seal in my entire routine. I don’t notice any significant hydration that I couldn’t get from any other moisturizer (only because I have oily skin, I’m sure dry skin would love this) but it has been great at relieving my itchy, burning skin. It’s not sticky or greasy, and I enjoy that it has no scent. Didn’t cause me to break out except for the first time I used it. I hear this is great for eczema too but I haven’t tried this on my hands yet. Overall it’s a great cream, we just started off on the wrong foot 😂 now that I’ve had some time with it, I’d definitely recommend it for all skin types!
