This is a very lightweight clear gel like serum that feels cooling and soothing on the skin. I enjoyed using it on my sensitive and acne prone skin. It claims to prevent future acne, reduce sensitivity, sooth irritated skin, and strengthening the skin’s immune system. After using up the serum, I feel that it does sooth irritated skin and maybe reduced some sensitivity, but I cannot attest to the other claims. I find myself having to pump a few times to get the desire amount of serum for my face. It is not particularly hydrating but that it feels nice on the skin. My skin did not react negatively from this serum. However after using up the serum, I did not repurchase because it is very expensive for such a small bottle and not quite meeting all the claims. The serum is free of silicone fragrance and alcohol. Non-comedogenic. Key ingredients (taken from the official site) * Beta Glucan - strengthen skin's immune system to lessen sensitivity * Superoxide Dismutase - antioxidant to ease inflammation * Saccharomyces Lysate (Tissue Respiratory Factors)- cell-energizing, stimulates oxygen consumption and combats irritation * Phospholipids - balances hydration within the skin * Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) - fades discoloration from breakouts, regulates oil production, lessens blemish activity * Biosaccharide Gum-2 - balances microflora to reduce blemishes Overall, I like this serum. It is soothing and cooling but I think it has over-promised and over-priced.
