Tactilely, it is something between a toner and a serum. If you overdo it with the amount, there will be a slight stickiness on the skin for a few minutes after application. I can't stand stickiness, but in this case it is not critical. You just need to wait longer than usual for the toner to be absorbed. If I am short on time, I apply the toner in a very thin layer. After that, I apply the serum and then the cream (also from Manyo).
