I was so lucky to be gifted the brand new Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum by Glow Recipe and to be one of the first to try it before it’s launch (3/30)! 🥑 This serum has a creamy texture and a beautiful pastel green color. It smells heavenly like avocado and cucumber - I almost wanted to eat it! The packaging is so cute like a bumpy little avocado and the pump makes it so easy to dispense and apply. This serum felt soothing immediately upon application. I have very dry skin and the avocado butter and oil in this product provided so much hydration! I did use it before applying my normal moisturizer but I probably wouldn’t need to follow with the moisturizer at all. With all the hydration this serum provided, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn’t make my skin look oily or shiny yet the hydration lasted all day. The directions recommend to use both AM and PM, however I didn’t feel the need to apply again at night because the effects were so lasting! Ceramides in this product form a protective barrier over the skin and reduce redness. Within a minute of applying this serum, my skin looked more even-toned and smooth. My normal red areas on my forehead and cheeks were no longer red and my skin had a bright and youthful glow. I am overly satisfied with this product and it’s effectiveness with minimal use! I highly HIGHLY recommend this serum - I am so in love with my skin after using this! 🥑
