If you want true brightening benefits from vitamin C this isn’t the serum for you in that it doesn’t contain enough vitamin C to truly make a big difference in skin tone or for lightening hyperpigmentation. HOWEVER, if you want a antioxidant rich serum with countless benefits to your skin this is one of the best well rounded serum. This can help with skin plumping, brightening, supporting your skin barrier, anti-aging, hydration, & more. The ingredients list is stellar & one of the best ingredients lists that I’ve seen, covering a wide variety of skin conditions. 🍊 Final Conclusion 🍊 If you’re looking for a super antioxidant serum, this is the one for you! If you’re looking for true vitamin C benefits, maybe a stronger formulation could help quicker and more effectively. Overall, I love this serum because I had absolutely no irritation and my skin felt sooo healthy and hydrated. The encapsulated vitamin E really feels nourishing to my skin and never felt too heavy for daytime use. I definitely will continue to use this day and night & hope to see some long term benefits. If you have sensitive skin this is the vitamin C serum for you. 🍊 Skin&Lab Vitamin C Brightening Serum [Recap Review] Maybe some of you remember, but I already reviewed this serum before so please check out that review as well in you want more details. ~ Notable Ingredients: Glycerin {4}, Niacinamide {6}, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C Derivative) {8 - 1.5%}, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) {9}, Panthenol {10}, Bifida Ferment Lysate [11], Algae Extract [12], HA [13]… there are too many great ingredients to name. 😅 ~ INCI List: As I mentioned in my previous review of this, this is a very gentle vitamin C serum as it has a pretty low amount of vitamin C in the overall formulation. But, that doesn’t mean it isn’t effective. I do believe that this is more suitable for sensitive skin types or those just starting on the vitamin C game. This of course is known for the 15% Vita Energy Complex which is packed with many great ingredients from anti-oxidants to active vitamins which could really help the skin. ~ Nourishing?: I would definitely consider that this is a very nourishing serum and one that I love using morning & night during any skin condition because of how gentle & protective it is. I look at this serum as being a nourishing serum because of the texture and ingredients. I definitely helps to promote good skin health and protect our skin barriers. *This may be a little too thick for daytime use for those with oily skin. ~ Price: $24.70 ~ Texture: Goopy Nourishing Serum ~ Rating: 5/5 🍊 Final Conclusion: This is a great serum that I really like overall, but would consider it more as an anti-oxidant serum that really promotes great skin health than a vitamin C serum.
