Wearing sunscreen has helped my skin, meaning that it has delayed my predisposition regarding these issues. But aging comes for us all (don't cry, babies,hang on in there) and makes it necessary now to find the right serum which will help your skin work harder to fade scars and sun induced discolorations. 🧊AfterConsideringManyOptions, I decided on La Roche-Posay's Pigmentclar Serum, since I had success with their products in the past (👌🏼thank you for Effaclar and vitamin C). This serum uses an anti-dark-spot complex, formulated with the Thermal Spring Water of La Roche Posay and made up of PhE-Resorcinol, #niacinamide, #hyaluronic_acid, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, glycerin and #ferulic_acid to help with dark spots, along with #salicylic_acid for gentle surface exfoliation to even out skintone and brighten the complexion. The texture is melt-in, pearlescent, lightweight and fast absorbed. It does have a strong scent which quickly fades. I usually apply to the face and neck line, both at night and in the morning (along with my high spf).It is quickly absorbed, leaving a matte, non greasy feeling. I always use 2 pumps and it is enough. 🧊After using it for a month, I can definitely see an improvement in my skin and some slight discolorations I noticed early enough have now almost disappeared. Some of my acne scars have also shrunk significantly. 🧊Freedom It is free of parabens, allergens and sulfates. If it were fragrance free, I would have loved it even more. PS. My skin is quite fair and really prone to sunspots. Serums like this do not penetrate deeper than the upper layers of the discolored area, so you have to be extra careful with your sun protection if you have such concerns or fair skin that puts you at higher risk of getting sun spots.
