SMolina review for KateCeuticals Resurfacing Overnight Peel

The Resurfacing Overnight Peel is one of the products from Kate Somervile’s new line Kateceuticals which promises clinical grade results at home. The peel comes in an almost plain looking silver tube with a pump dispenser. But it’s not what’s on the outside that matters, but what’s on the inside! The Peel is packed with some of my favorite ingredients such as AHA, retinol and niacinamide which tackle a variety of skin issues such as enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, dark spots and uneven skin texture. No more need to layer different products or trying to figure out which products work well together since this peel addresses all of my concerns. I love the unexpected pale yellow color and the light scent of the peel. Due to the extremely smooth and slick texture, the peel easily and evenly spreads on the skin. I enjoyed the cooling and slightly tingling sensation on my face while the product was absorbed into my skin. Since this peel is packed with powerful ingredients I expected some irritation and redness but to my surprise did not experience any of those side effects. A lot of overnight masks leave a “film” on my face which needs to be rinsed of in the morning but not this one! My skin felt velvety smooth and soft after using the peel overnight. Any blemishes and redness which were visible prior to application also appeared less red and less noticeable. I suffer from enlarged pores on my nose and saw subtle but noticeable (at least to me) tightening of those pores after just one use.
