My Take:
Do you like to read the full ingredients list before trying out a skincare item? I actually like to try mine without knowing. I also never patch test....
I already know my skin loves propolis, but this toner has an interesting mix of ingredients I’ve not come across before. Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Niacinamide and Propolis? Then add in a bunch of oils including lavender oil and tea tree oil.
But let’s ignore all that for a moment. This toner has a light almost medicinal scent and a watery texture. It absorbs instantly into my skin. After using it exclusively for 2 weeks, my skin seems smoother and brighter compared to when I was using my cica based toner. This seems to be less hydrating than my usual toner but works better than when I use a dedicated exfoliating toner to give me smoother skin.
Conclusion:
I thought this would be a very hydrating toner like my other propolis products, but it surprised me by being able to smooth out and brighten my skin, as well as provide some hydration. I always wonder why toners don’t combine these functions instead of just hydrating or just brightening or just exfoliating, so I am so glad I found one that seems to do it all relatively well.
This has a lot of ingredients such as fruit oils and acids that can cause potential problems, especially for those with sensitive skin, so make sure you patch test!
