Stepping into a more powerful retinol product from local brand. 🇮🇩 I like to keep my skincare routine simple and who doesn’t love a good blend of actives in one bottle? Elshéskin ARNS contain a few impressive blend of ingredients that claim to rejuvenates and improve skin texture. It has niacinamide, 1% encapsulated retinol, hyaluronic acid, and blend of peptides (see slides for more details) . Well, this product is the most watery-light weight serum that I have ever tried. It almost feels like a toner at some point. Absorb or set in no time, it doesn’t leave any tackiness (also not as hydrating). Although they are not as hydrating, it still deliver the results expected from all that blend of ingredients. . It helps improve texture results in less congested pores and skin feel a lot smoother. It helps improve skin recovery and fades post-inflammatory (acne) hyperpigmentation. Does it help with fine lines or plumpness? Well, I can’t really justify their benefit to improve fine lines, since I don’t have much of an issue with fine lines and nothing I can witness with my naked eyes as of now. However, I always think of using retinol is like a long term investment to prevent premature aging (hyperpigmentation, dullness, and loss of skin elasticity) *finger crossed* . I didn’t experience any side effect such as dryness or flaky skin using this product. Although remembering their intermediate % of retinol and lightweight texture, it may be drying for dry skin type. So make sure to follow some of these extra tips for those who want to try this product: -Make sure to start slowly for those of you who are new in “retinol” (use only 2-3 times a week) -Seal with a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated (minimized drying effect) -Don’t forget your sunscreen every morning
