Chaga Concentrate Essence
A highly concentrated single extract essence (almost! Water, Chaga Mushroom Extract, Propanediol)
Chaga Mushrom claims to be anti viral & antibacterial, anti inflammatory (soothing), and loaded with antioxidants
The texture is thin and runny, just a hint of richness and moisture to it as you press it into the skin.
The most outstanding benefit is also an immediate result - it leaves my skin incredible soft! Every time I use it I rub it all over my hands and décolletage too, just so that I can touch my skin over and over again (don’t touch your face during the day 😜)
It’s definitely not hydrating enough on its own and I have to pair it with an hydrating toner.
I also was not impressed by the soothing abilities of chaga. I much prefer mugwort when my skin is sensitive or irritated. More a subtle calming effect than an immediate relief.
Final thoughts..
Im a little torn about this one
I wish it would be more hydrating and calming, give that glow or leave my skin more supple and plump.
On the other hand I really enjoy using this essence and I love how soft my skin feels. Especially in the morning I like to reach for antioxidants packed products. But it is on the pricier side considering what you get... I use it additionally to other toners/essences but it doesn’t replace them.
