It does not sting, though I haven't used it while my skin was sensitised due to the oils. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly and plumps skin. It glides on easily and doesn't leave a tacky finish. I apply this after cleanser to a wet face with my hands, and before serum. It plays well with other products.
