I don't think you can build up the hydration level to a moisturizing effect. It doesn't matter how many layers I applied because the product is so quickly absorbed and the result would end up to be just about the same. I would recommend this product to oily and combination skin types, because it's enough to keep the skin hydrated, bouncy and plump. I'm not planning to repurchase the ampoule because I already have enough skincare products that do contain hyaluronic acid.
