tofutown review for From Ganghwa Pure Artemisia First Essence

When the name Tonymoly comes to mind, I always think of the brand as a "teen brand" because of all the cute and whimsical packaging. But this artemisia line is one of their more grown up ones. The plastic bottle is pretty and really gives off the hanbang feel. The essence itself is a tea brown color. It is very watery and absorbs into the skin quickly. I use my hands to spread and pat it into my skin. I can definitely feel a hydrating effect from it, and my skin feels soft after using it. It's not sticky or oily---it feels comfortable. I am on tretinoin and I think it is helping calm my acne spots a bit from the purging. Not anything too crazy but it is noticeable when I don't use the essence.
