skintensely review for Cleanance SPF 50+

I finally tried the Avène Solaire SPF50, which is a chemical sunscreen formulated for oily, acne-prone skin, and claims to regulate sebum production and leave minimal white cast. Unfortunately I found none of these claims to be true. The cream is quite greasy and leaves a white cast comparable to particularly bad mineral sunscreens. I worked it in quite a bit to no avail and also felt it pilling as I was applying it. I was worried that I used too much product but as you can see, my hands also had the same distinct white cast even though I only put the excess cream there. I hate to pile on but I also felt some irritation and a warming sensation around my eyes. I will be using this as a body SPF and will not repurchase.
