As I am going back outside, I have to wear a mask from 8 am to 4 pm everyday. I notice that just after one day, I get really painful cystic acne. 

I thought acne caused from masks was just on the surface and not deep like cystic is. 

Has anyone dealt with this, and does anyone have any recommendations? I’m using a strong retinol at the moment, but it doesn’t seem to be working as fast as I hope it does.

Mask-acne

Nothing! Except that it doesnt come in a bigger bottle. Its 180 mL and that’s not bad, but j do think it could be made into a bigger bottle which might be more useful, especially if you go through the product quicker.

General:
🐚 No colour, no fragrance, and no actives that cause purging or irritation. Is a very simple product. 
🐚 Comes in an easy and minimalistic packaging, looks cute and is easy to use.

Texture:
🐚 Clear, colourless, and slightly viscous. 
🐚 Not watery, but not too thick, I’d say that its inbetween a toner and an essence, so like a thicker toner. 
🐚 Smooth to apply, just slides over the skin, and absorbs relatively fast, doesn’t leave behind ang tacky or sticky feeling, just hydrated skin.
🐚 Doesn’t feel greasy or sticky, and instead is like drinking water for your skin.

Usage:
🐚 I use 5 drops and just pat it around my face using my hands, AM and PM. 
🐚 I have noticed a better complexion which is healthier and more hydrated, it helps me with: dehydration (and dryness), inflamed acne, and brightening. 
🐚 Because of the thick consistency, I didn’t need to use this product with any cotton pads, and i found that it meant less product went to waste.

It’s so good, I’ve already bought a second one!

Unfortunately I had more negatives than positives with this product. Left a greasy white cast, gave me acne the next day, shape makes it hard to reach the incricate parts of the face, and lastly—it if way too expensive for only 14g worth of product. 

Overall, I would recommend something else for people with oily skin, but if you have dry skin, it is good.

Small and portable to carry around, has a nice smell, and isn’t tinted.

Nothing with the product itself, but with the packaging. There is a bit of a “groove” at the end where the serum stays in the parts where the dropper cannot reach. This is why, when there was 2 mL left, i just threw it away. 

Otherwise, this was an alright product. I didn’t notice any huge difference, but it didn’t make my skin worse so that’s a bonus.

It has a slightly thick texture, and doesn’t have any fragrance. 

Overall, I noticed that it did end up brightening my skin and helping with breakouts, but it took a long time to do so, and that is becuase I think it doesn’t have enough niacinamide in it (only 2%).

Only the price I would say. 

The work amazing, but I feel like getting a pack of 48 patches for $7AUD off StyleVana is very expensive for how long they last. For me, it didn’t even take a week to go through the entire pack.

I love them, but i think I would either buy them in bulk, or just get something that can be used for longer.

General:
1. Are transparent
2. Are waterproof
3. Can be covered with make up apparently (I haven’t tried) 

Look:
1. Is semi-tinted, and yet transparent, so when i put it on my face, I couldn’t notice where it was except for it being shiny
2. Is thin, and doesn’t tend to stick out like a bump on the skin.

Effectiveness:
1. For small surface level breakouts, it would help reduce them immediately over night, so j found that they worked the best on these kinds.
2. For deeper more bigger break outs, it takes a few patches or get rid of them, so it works, but definitely takes some time.
3. For cystic acne, it does do something, it dries or the surface slowly and I noticed some size reduction. It doesn’t make them fully go away though.

Nothing is really wrong, but it is boring. It is just thermal water, and if you’re looking for a toner that actually does something, go for a toner with more ingredients than water.

No fragrance, no colour, acne causing ingredients. I love to spray this all over my face before I immediately apply a hyaluronic acid serum, and it helps lock in a lot of hydration. It’s a good “toner” which is neutral, it helps when used with another product, but other wise it doesn’t do anything bad. It is nice when just used for a face mist, it is refreshing and cooling. The huge 300 mL aerosol bottle is the best for day to day use, because I usually go through one every 6 months if I use it liberally.
