how’s practicing skincare impacts your mental health? 

as for me, it has a big impact on boosting my confidence and loving myself the way i am by treating my skin and taking care of myself.

back then i used to have really really oily skin and i go out under the sun for hours, not thinking about my skin. but i guess it’s normal, since i was still very young and didn’t know how to take care of myself. my skin was so dull and dirty but i didn’t know how to take care of it.

people can be so cruel and you get judged so easily which can cause mental health problems. people told me how dull and disgusting my skin is and at that point i lost my confidence, hated myself, and had trouble sleeping at night just thinking about how ugly i am.

but thankfully, i got introduced to skincare by my friends and social media. i didn’t immediately start with a korean 10 step routine, but i tried to incorporate some products depending on my budget. ofc i made a lot of mistakes back then, such as diy skincare, not using suncsreen, and other things, but it’s part of learning, so i kept going and learned more about the dos and don’ts.

and at some point i know how to take care of my skin and understand that there’s no such thing as ‘perfect skin’, and i finally gained confidence, started loving myself more and accepting who i am, and i feel so much better now <3

what do you guys think about eye creams? do you think they actually do their job and its worth the purchase, or you just think its not that important and its basically just a thicker moisturizer in a small bottle?

I CANT BELIEVE THIS 😭😭

i’ve never seen anyone talking about this lol. has anyone used miniso skincare products???? they do have a lot of them, starting from cleanser to sunscreen. the only products i’ve tried from them are sheetmasks. they’re inexpensive, not irritating on me, leaves my skin glowy and hydrated.

im not planning on buying their “full size” products, but i just want to know your opinions/experience on them 😳

i dont have anything bad to say, maybe it doesnt do a good job at removing heavy make up?? i usually wear lightweight make up so i dont really know :( but overall its a nice micellar water

its a very gentle micellar water!! doesnt leave my skin feeling tight&#47;dry and my skin feels refreshing after using it. it does remove dirt and lightweight make up well!

sometimes the runny liquidy texture feels too light on me, which ends up drying my face a little. it works fine when the temparature is a lot hotter, but when its getting a bit cold or im in a room with ac, it dries my skin :(

its so lightweight and fast absorbing!! doesnt leave my face greasy and its fragrance free as well. as a person who has oily skin, it works well on me.

nothing! one thing to point out is that it does leave your skin sticky, but i dont mind that so 😁

this one!! it feels nice on my skin, and it makes my skin so plump, hydrated, and soft!!! the essence has a honey scent to it which i love, and its so thick as well. i even had to cut the packaging to get all the essence out and put it on my neck and body lol. love it sm!

at first it made my skin purge because i was introducing it to my routine too fast, so i suggest take it slow at first!!! it does contain oil and leaves my skin a bit greasy and oily (but sometimes i dont really mind that) and also the fragrance might be too strong for some people so i dont recommend it for people with sensitive skin.

first of all, love the fresh lemon scent!! been using it for 3-4 months and it does a good job on gently exfoliate my skin! i do see an improvement on my skin, pores, and redness, as it contains aha bha pha to exfoliate &amp; centella to calm the redness :) my nose used to had blackheads and it was so red, but now the redness has calmed down and blackheads are gone! plus my skin feels a lot softer these days &lt;3

the classic “nivea sun” fragrance lol. i mean i dont mind that at all, but it might not be the one for people who doesnt like fragrance.

works pretty well on me! it feels lightweight on the skin, spreads nicely, fast absorbing, no whitecast, and my favorite thing is the finishing, its not greasy at all but also not too matte!! perfect for oily skin &lt;3
