Nothing! I think oilier slin types can use it as a moisturiser but drier skin types as a serum. So i think this is great for a variety of skin types.

This emulsion contains a high concentration of green tea extract (second highest ingredient in formula). It also contains ginkgo biloba (maidenhair tree) leaf extract and centella asiatica extract which are both very soothing! As well as willow bark extract which is like a natural and gentle form of salicylic acid. Along with blueberry fruit extract, beta-glucan, allantoin and so many more. 

This ingredients list is very comparable to their green tea fresh toner. It utilises the same beneficial ingredients with different formulas to incorporate at different stages in your skincare routine.

Experience:💁‍♀️
The consistency of this at first when you pump it onto your hand appears to be a lotion like consistency but it instantly melts into a hydrating and moisturising serum like texture. The packaging I just love! The pump is amazing and I just want to use it all the time🤣 This applies beautifully and soaks into the skin while maintaining high levels of moisture and hydration within the skin. The results are just as incredible. Brightening, plumping and so soothing just like their toner except this has the added benefit of providing moisture too! I use this interchangeably in my AM and PM routine. If you have oily skin this is great to pair with a moisturising sunscreen and skip out on your usual moisturiser. Or if your skin is on the dry side, this is great in the serum stage. I love how useable this is for all skin types and how it can be incorporated into a routine in so many different ways!

Will I repurchase?💸
Yes, yes, yes! I love this!! This product is also so affordable, which is amazing. I would highly recommend you give this a try!

Some may experience a slight white cast though it usually disappears mostly after 5-10 minutes

This sunscreen amazed me! Like me you may have been on a hunt recently to find new sunscreens after many got discontinued due to incorrect SPF ratings. I have been using many Aussie sunscreens lately but really wanted to get back into Korean sunscreens because I love how nicely they apply and this one is no exception. For a 100% mineral sunscreen this applies with ease and leaves little to no white cast which I love of course. SPF is so important and this sunscreen makes applying sunscreen enjoyable especially for all those people who hate applying sunscreen☀️This sunscreen is standard size and reasonably priced for the high quality product you’re getting. This has a faint scent from the extracts in this sunscreen (apple, jasmine flower, vanilla planifolia fruit etc.) though it is pleasant and not notices once applied to the face. Overall this sunscreen is absolutely incredible and leaves a slightly matte finish though looks gorgeous and I would highly recommend trying it out!!

Rovectin is a brand I’ve been loving and I’m so excited to dive deeper into the brand and try out more of their products!🥰

Not quite hily grail status for me but its still pretty amazing!

🥰texture and experience - this serum is a lovely and hydrating though absorbs nicely into the skin. This is great for calming inflammation, reducing redness and relieving irritation. It is packed full of amazing soothing ingredients, in fact a lot more than advertised. This serum is advertised as containing green tea and panthenol but it also contains centella asiatica, mugwort extract, propolis and sugarcane extract. This is packed full of great ingredients and they definitely shine through with amazing calming effects. This serum definitely deserves its calming title.

📦packaging - this serum is a standard size of 30ml and comes in a plastic bottle. At first I wasn’t too sure about the plastic bottle but I love it now because I can chuck this around and it won’t break. This is a great size for travelling also. 

🧴which skin types and concerns this would suit - if you’re looking to this as a calming serum, I think all skin types could benefit from this though for dry skin types, I don’t think this would be hydrating enough in terms of a hydrating serum though great for soothing inflammation. As for skin concerns, this serum can help relieve redness, and inflammation. This has been great for my breakouts and any irritation.

🎬final thoughts - this is a 4.5 star product for me, not quite 5 stars as this isn’t a holy grail product for me though I love using this and enjoy the calming and soothing results this provides. Definitely one to give a try if you have redness, irritation, or inflammation.

Little bit pricey and people with very dry skin probably won’t find this hydrating enough.

🌱100% Ganghwa mugwort extract - grown in Ganghwa county in South Korea, this ingredient helps to “treat skin problems and refine skin texture for clear and smooth skin” - I’m from. 

Experience💁‍♀️

🥰Texture and experience- this essence is hydrating yet absorbs nicely. It has a very mugwort smell, obviously, which for those who haven’t used any mugwort products, it’s a very planty, herbal, earthy type smell. This isn’t the most lightweight product as it’s an essence it’s got a bit of body to it but it feels nice on the skin. I love the calming effect of this however, it’s not my favourite product of all time. That being said I still thoroughly enjoy using this especially when I’m breaking out for the soothing and calming effects. 

📦Packaging- the glass packaging of this bottle is so beautiful. The stopper allows easy flow of product while being able to control how much comes out. The labelling is simplistic yet looks elegant also. I’m excited to be able to reuse the glass bottle when this is empty.

🧴Skin type this would suit - I’m from recommends this for normal to oily skin although I also think dry skin types would really enjoy this as it is lovely and hydrating while soothing also. As for skin concerns, this is great for acne prone skin like myself and also sensitive skin as it is purely mugwort and doesn’t contain any common irritants. 

🎬Final thoughts - I think this essence is worth the price and performs well for what it’s aimed at and I think I might even repurchase.

Not quite holy grail status for me but this is pretty amazing still!

📦packaging - this bottle is plastic which is great for travelling because you can chuck it around and it won’t break. I also love the 30ml size as it allow you to try the product while being able to use it before it’s expiry! The price for the size is also amazing especially considering the amazing high quality ingredients present!!

🥰texture - this texture is gel type texture though it isn’t heavy and it absorbs nicely. This isn’t sticky either and hydrates the skin beautifully while providing a lovely glow. 

😍results - I love the combination of niacinamide and propolis in this product as it is great for soothing breakouts (propolis) but also great for evening texture and minimising the “appearance” of pores (niacinamide). This like I said gives me a beautiful glow every time I use it and is beautifully hydrating. Due to the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of propolis this is amazing to soothe irritation. I love this one and would highly recommend trying it!
