Facial oils?

Which toner do you guys like better - Benton BHA Toner or Axis-Y Daily Purifying Toner? Both have 0.5% Salicylic acid.

I prefer using less percentage of SA because I have sensitive skin but I still need to exfoliate as I have blackheads and whiteheads on my T zone.

I kind of like both. What are your thoughts?

Which one do you prefer?

Do you guys prefer to use eye creams or just apply moisturiser on your eye area? 

Lately, I'm finding myself not reaching out to eye creams and using moisturiser instead.

Eye cream: Yay or Nay?

I have sensitive and combination skin. I can only apply salicylic acid on my T zone. Rest of my face breaks out bad from salicylic acid. My face also can't tolerate L- ascorbic acid and glycolic acid. But I need something for facial exfoliation.

Heard that mandelic acid is a pretty mild AHA but is it gentle enough for super sensitive skin? I don't want to ruin my skin barrier again?

Is mandelic acid gentle enough for sensitive skin?

Only issue is since it gives a very dewy finish, it might be a tad too much on a sunny day or where there's a lot of humidity.


Otherwise, for me, it's the perfect product. 💗💗💗

This is a chemical sunscreen which absorbs the UV rays and breaks them down and changes them to heat. It has SPF 50 which blocks UV-B rays and PA++++ which blocks UV-A rays.

I have been using this for a month and I am loving this. It does not leave a white cast and gives a dewy finish which is great for winter. It has a watery texture which is very lightweight on skin  I let it sit for 20-30 min before applying my makeup and it gives a nice finish to the makeup. You can also apply this and not use any makeup for a natural look.

Some of the key ingredients which make this sunscreen stand out are:

☘️ Centella Asiatica Extract (soothes and heals sensitive skin)

☘️ Ceramide (fatty acids essential for a healthy skin barrier making it soft and supple. Also, replenishes skin moisture)

☘️ Fig Fruit Extract (antioxidant, reduces water loss from skin and improves skin colour by reducing dark spots)

☘️ Astaxanthin (natural carotenoid, reduces moisture loss, keeps skin smooth and strengthens skin elasticity. Also, reduces UV-B induced inflammation)

☘️ Hyaluronic Acid, not just one but 8 layers!!! (a humectant which not only increases hydration but also reduces fine lines and wrinkles)


What I don't like:

⛈️ It is expensive for its formulation. I wish they would reduce the price. 
 I bought it on major discount and that's the main reason I got to try this.

⛈️ Since, this is expensive, I would say there are better and cheaper options available in the market which caters to the same needs as this.

I would not buy this on MRP but only on discount.

What is it?

It is thermal water in a bottle which is supposed to have a lot of benefits acquired during the time interval of around 50 years.

What I like:

💦 First of all, love the bottle. It is like those deodorant bottles and the spray is marvelous. It scatters little bit of the product to a large surface area which not only feels like standing in a fountain but also makes the product last longer.

💦 It has soothed my sensitive skin, especially when it was irritated due to strong acids. I remember feeling so relieved after spraying it on my face. Prolonged use helps to reduce inflammatory but needs patience.

💦 Super hydrating and adds a nice glow to the face.

💦 It has nitrogen which helps to smoothen the skin, silicates which softens the skin and the ideal  calcium/magnesium ratio which improves skin texture.

💦 I love the fact that they did not add additional actives or other ingredients to the thermal water and kept it intact.

💦 They claim that this is safe for infants as well. (I haven't tried.)

All in all, it's a good facial mist especially if you have sensitive and inflammed skin which needs soothing and hydration.

People who have excessive oily skin might find this a little bit heavy but they might still like it.

Since, it has that citrusy fragrance, people who are allergic to fragrance might not like this.

Things I like:

🎍This contains 86% bamboo extract which has soothing properties and rich in minerals and amino acids.

🎍This has natural Korean medical extracts which help in soothing irritated skin and 15 different plant oils that help strengthen the skin barrier.

🎍 We have to shake the bottle inorder to mix the oil with the water. This is so hydrating for skin.

🎍 I have a combination skin and I thought this toner will be way too oily for me but it's not. It kind of keeps my skin perfect, neither too oily nor too dry. This one is great at maintaining the oil-moisture balance of the skin.

🎍 Has a mild citrusy fragrance which feels very refreshing.

🎍 This toner works great in both summer and winter so that's something I really like.

🎍 Price point is decent. If not, then definitely try this when on sale.

🍯 Since, I have combination skin, it's a tad bit too heavy for me during summers. I only use it in winters.
🍯 Price is a little bit steep.

🐝 Deeply moisturises my skin.
🐝 Strengthens my skin barrier and protects it from get further irritated from external factors.
🐝 Gives a nice glow.
🐝 After using it at night, my skin feels really plump in the morning.
🐝 Rich in antioxidants and vitamins which help to remove blemishes and makes the skin bringht.

Things I don't like:

💔 Transfers very easily.

💔 Has to apply multiple times because it transfers, so, not very long lasting.

Things I love about this:

🍓 Very moisturising and nourishing. Makes my lips plump and soft.

🍓 Thick yet lightweight texture.

🍓 Acts as a great base for lipstick, especially the matte ones.

🍓 Very affordable. Great price point.

🍓 Gives a nice shine to the lips.

🍓 Love the strawberry fragrance. Feels yummy 😋😋.

🍓 Can also be applied as a balm on dry patches of the skin other than the lips.
