I’m new to using eye gel patches but I’m loving these green tea ones by Jayjun! They are so cooling and relaxing to use. I can’t say that I notice a big difference to my eye area, but I don’t really suffer from puffy eyes or dark circles so there isn’t much for me to notice. I use these more just to pamper myself.

They are water-soluble and contain great ingredients including niacinamide, licorice root extract, allantoin, adenosine, glycerin, skullcap root extract, and 0.2% green tea leaf powder. They have a faint green tea scent that I really enjoy. 

The packaging is also super cute! I definitely see myself repurchasing these when I run out.

It’s a little pricey and almost never on sale.

This is one of my favorite skincare products of all time. First of all, it’s such a fun essence to use — I love watching the process of the two separate layers mixing together. It’s visually stunning, and it sparks a little joy whenever I look at it even if I’m not putting it to use. 

Aside from these superficial traits, this essence deserves praise for its great formula. It’s got a high amount of green tea extract, some ceramide NP, saccharomyces ferment filtrate, centella asiatica, and more. The final concoction is a product that provides antioxidant and barrier-supportive benefits. 

The texture of this is dreamy. It’s creamy but not overwhelmingly thick or greasy. A little goes a long way—I only need two or three drops for my whole face to be sufficiently hydrated. 

It’s way too expensive — $86 for 100ml! It also contains rose-scented fragrance which lingers.

As soon as this product was released, I was immediately reminded of the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence — both essences are bi-phase formulas split with a moisturizing side and a watery, hydrating side. While they don’t have too many components in common, they do both contain ceramide NP and a variety of antioxidants and soothing ingredients.

This contains a lot of great ingredients, including: ceramide NP, phytosphingosine, sea buckthorn oil, squalane, allantoin, tocopherol, panthenol, sweet almond oil, and glycerin.

Texturally, it’s similar to the Dr. Ceuracle essence. You definitely feel the moisturization, but it isn’t too heavy. It’s ever so slightly more sticky than Dr. Ceuracle, but after about 10 minutes of drying time, it doesn’t feel sticky at all. If you’ve ever tried Laneige’s Cream Skin Refiner, this is lighter and less greasy. 

This product contains 60 pads soaked with toner. I’ve only ever tried one other toner pad (the Soo Good Toner Pad) so I’m not super experienced at telling if this category is good or bad, but I’m happy with these! As you can see in the video I posted, they’re soaked with enough toner that I could squeeze out a decent amount. What attracts me most to this product are the brightening ingredients in it — it contains niacinamide, tranexamic acid, and onion extract. Tranexamic acid in particular is an ingredient that is relatively new to me and that I’m interested in. I’m excited to see if this product helps brighten some of my hyperpigmentation and sun damage. Even if it doesn’t, it’s still a really nice hydrating product, and it’s convenient for days when I’m feeling lazy and don’t feel like pouring toner into my hands or on a separate cotton pad.

It’s pretty expensive for a small bottle.

I love mists, and this is one of the best I've ever tried. I love the watermelon scent and the super fine fog mist. It contains hyaluronic acid and other great ingredients for the skin.
