have been using klairs gentle black fresh cleansing oil all these while and while it's really amazing (gets out all the gunk from my pores!! when i rub, i can actually feel them coming out), it's a little pricey in my region :(

i'm running out and quite unlikely to repurchase this, hence looking for new cleansing oils! 

preferably something affordable, and can easily remove makeup including waterproof mascara (i LOVE clio's mascara)

update: i stay in asia specifically singapore!! so shopee, lazada works better than yesstyle, stylekorean etc

relatively new here and i was reading up on the picky squad! they mentioned that quality greatly influences becoming picky squad, and that we need minimally 3 reviews of high quality

understand that high quality refers to descriptive, opinionated reviews with clear photos/ videos of texture, before/ after etc 

question is: does anyone know how picky actually looks out for, and how they check for this? 

they have so many users, so (i would think that) likely they use some sort of AI - just curious to know if anyone knows what I should aim towards!

may not react well for some ppl in my opinion! and this turns yellow as well after time :( 

contains 10% vitamin c derivative and niacinamide for brightening!! together with 5 types of antioxidants for bouncy and firm skin 🤍 vitamin c derivatives are a good option for beginners, and they have a longer shelf life too! 

my skin doesn't usually do well with vitamin c derivatives (somehow i do better with pure vitamin c LOL) but this did not irritate my skin at all!! also, i usually use vitamin c at night because vitamin c + sunscreen don't work well for me (the sunscreen will end up stinging my face, when it doesn't usually), but this was actually ok! (also def depends on the sunscreen you use, i use skin1004's sun serum 🥳) 

i'm not sure if i really experienced any lightening of hyperpigmentation, but i definitely have to use it for a longer time to find out. so far so good!! 


can be a little pricey tbh :( can probably get something on par at half the price unfortunately 

quick spoiler: i really love this! has a very viscous texture yet absorbs into my skin really easily and quickly. no sticky finish too and it's super hydrating! gives your skin a plump feel 🫶🏻 i use this when my skin needs that extra boost of hydration 💦 it smells nice and definitely gives off the luxury feels 💅

takes a little longer to absorb, and could be more hydating

contains guaiazulene which has powerful calming properties, and centella asiatica which hydrates and relieves redness 🤩

the texture seems slightly gel-like at first but it's actually quite creamy once you rub it into the skin! i won't say that its super lightweight, because i can definitely feel like there's something sitting on top of my skin (quite mild and in a good way!! i actually like it)

no alcohol, no stinging, no piling etc 🥳 there's some slight scent but it's quite nice and i can't make out what it is LOL (no fragrance added). not sure if it's just me but its a little sticky though & takes a longer time (than normal) to become non-sticky 🥲 but not an issue if you're using at night 

i LOVE this!!! has a really really nice calming effect and my skin feels so soft & nice after. i prefer using this at night where my skin needs something super calming after a long day!! plus point as it comes in a tube form (for 60ml version) 🤍🤍

also, just wanted to mention that i might be slightly biased here because its so beautiful i LOVE the colour of this 😭😭 so pretty it makes my day whenever i use it LOL <3 

may not see immediate results with this! not too sure about the concentration inside as well to be honest

i surprisingly rly love this!! contains egf, peptide and collagen to help with droopy skin and prevent formation of wrinkles! approaching my mid 20s soon and tbh i'm SO SCARED of ageing 😭😭 can i just not age pls!!! 🥲🥲🥲

bc of it's claims and my fear of developing wrinkles (i know its part and process of growing older!!), i've actually been very diligent with this LOL i use it every morning! the texture is somewhat interesting, its not viscous yet not watery. instead, i would say its something like a light cream-like texture
