While I did enjoy using it, it’s not as hydrating as i expected. Probably because it contains just one ingredient(?). To me this wasn’t an issue because a toner straight after will do the trick in hydrating my dehydrated skin. Do avoid if you are sensitive towards fermented products! Another con would be the price, cause this is waaay above my budget. 😅

I had a pleasant experience with this first essence. It really reduced my redness almost instantly after applying, and I noticed that it aid the recovery of my skin barrier alongside with other products. 

Would highly recommend this for people suffering from irritated, red, and angry skin.

The only con would be is that it does feel a bit greasy (even though many have claim it to be non-greasy), but it’s probably because I haven’t quite adjusted to the finish. I might need more time to get used to it so that’s not necessarily a bad thing!

I’m not really into facial oils because of the thicc, emollient texture and uncomfortable greasy finish, but this one is surprisingly lightweight. 𝘎𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴: It’s believed that jojoba oil is the most similar to human sebum, so it’s able to trick the skin into thinking that it has already produce enough sebum — hence, providing skin balancing properties for oily peeps.

Talking about the texture, it absorbs easily while still providing some slip where I’m able to gently massage it into my skin (which feels amazingly therapeutic after a long day). It leaves a semi-occlusive layer that’s moisturising enough for my combo&#47;oily skin.

I was so excited to try this ampoule because of its benefits in revitalising uneven skin and maintaining the skin’s elasticity. 

𝘎𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴: The theory behind collagen-fragment peptides is that when collagen breaks down naturally in the skin, peptide fragments signals the skin to get to work and produce new collagen. As this ampoule is formulated with 8 types of peptides, it helps to trick the skin into believing that collagen has broken down and that it&#39;s time to make more, leading to fewer wrinkles and a more youthful appearance.

I love that it has a runny, lightweight texture that absorbs quickly, leaving no tacky feeling. I can&#39;t  say on the anti-aging part as it&#39;ll take time to notice visible results, but this is a great product to incorporate to prevent skin aging. Hydration-wise, my skin certainly feels more hydrated, glowing and supple!

I tried mixing this with the peptide ampoule for an added boost of hydration. While I did notice that it was slightly more hydrating than using the ampoules separately — it still isn’t sufficiently hydrating for my dehydrated skin.

With only three ingredients in this ampoule (literally water, pentylene glycol &amp;amp; sodium hyaluronate), it’s basically a simple, no-frills HA product that can be used daily to hydrate, maintain skin’s elasticity, reduce external irritation and regenerate damaged skin barrier. 

This ampoule has slightly thicker texture than the peptide ampoule, but it sinks into the skin quite quickly with a finish that (thankfully) isn’t as tacky as other HA products I’ve tried.

It’s a bit hard to dispense out the product but you’ll eventually get used to it.

First of all, can we appreciate the packaging because it’s so aesthetic✨ If you’re into minimalism and eco-friendly skincare, this is the brand that’s worth checking out. 

Moving on with the toner, TLDR: I love it! It’s a lightweight, watery toner with some body but it sinks into the skin nicely. My skin is prone to dehydration and I’m always very picky with toners, but I’m actually impressed with the hydration levels of this toner. With organic hibiscus flower as its first ingredient, it leaves my skin with a refreshing and smooth-like feel which I didn’t expect as well! My skin literally felt so soft after applying this toner. It’s simple — but in a good way. 

I’m currently using this every day, in both my AM and PM routine after cleansing. I initially got the 100 ml size to test out, but looks like it’ll be getting the bigger size (250 ml) next.
