- 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: My skin went through a super reactive period last year when I tried the wrong products on my skin. They were 1) wayyy too emollient which suffocated my oily skin, 2) contained benzoyl peroxide which broke me out super badly. 😎 And these are the products I have used religiously to soothe my skin 💛

With my oily & sensitive skin, my holygrail is COSRX Good morning gel cleanser. My skin lovesssss it so much, it’s super gentle and it cleanses my skin well. I always return to this cleanser after trying out different cleansers 🥺

HOLYGRAIL Cleanser 😎

Sadly, this cleanser did not significantly reduce the amount of acne on my face though. But I’m in love with the texture and how it cleanses my skin without leaving my skin feeling tight and dry!

✧ Description: This non-drying, lightly foaming cleanser removes makeup and dirt, while helping to reduce blackheads and breakouts. As well as effectively cleansing the skin, this 2% Salicylic Acid cleanser has an added zinc compound. 
Together they help with oil-control, reducing blackheads and breakouts and promoting a more even looking complexion.

✧ Full Ingredients: Water (Aqua&#47;Eau), Propanediol, Glycerin, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Salicylic Acid, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, PEG-6 Caprylic&#47;Capric Glycerides, Betaine, Zinc PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Allantoin, Sodium Hydroxide, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Benzyl Alcohol, Coconut Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Tocopherol, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Citrate

💜 This cleanser does not reside in the “budget skincare” at where I stay, however I do believe its worth it, if you are trying to include BHA into your routine! In this case, salicylic acid helps the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and your skin will generate new cells! And this decreases the number of pimples that form and speeds healing. - Personally, I would prefer a cleanser that gives me a “cleansed feeling” without overly drying but this cleanser is super gentle and it gives a “cleansed but not cleansed” feeling after washing off, which I’m not really used to because it felt as if I did not cleanse. But this is just a personal preference and I still do recommend this cleanser to everyone 😎💛

✧ Description: This mild gel cleanser is formulated to clean daily grimes without stripping the skin&#39;s natural oils. It is also rich in moisturizing ingredients to replenish moisture back to your skin and protect the skin&#39;s barrier. Say goodbye to dry and tight skin.

✧ 🧖🏽‍♀️Review: 

- I use 1 pump of the gentle cleanser on my semi wet skin. Because I find that it lathers and adheres better during cleansing when my skin is semi wet as compared to fully wet. The scent is sweet like butter or caramel which really draws you in to the cleansing experience, I almost want to never stop cleansing. 

- This cleanser is super gentle and I can see many people of all skin types using it, including peeps with sensitised&#47;irritated&#47;over exfoliate skin. It does not strip my skin at all, for some reason my skin feels more hydrated using this cleanser. 💗

However, I recommend using it 2&#47;3 times a week if you have sensitive skin, and if you are breaking out with cystic acne, you might want to avoid this and choose a gentler cleanser without grains.

🍙 Description: This is the first powder cleanser I&#39;ve tried, and I love it! You only need to use a small amount of powder and it lathers up nicely into a foam cleanser. It has a small amount of walnut powder to help you exfoliate dead skin cells and impurities away from your skin as well! The rice bran extract and water also helps to brighten up your skin too.

🍚 Experience: I have sensitive &amp; oily skin, &amp; it feels all right on my skin. It cleanses my skin without a drying stripping feeling. I also like that it makes cleansing a fun experience because you got to create your cleanser with the powder. Because it has walnut powder that is a little grainy, I like to use it as a scrub 2-3 times a week. It removes impurities well, and my skin feels clean and soft after using it!

🌾 Contains rice bran extract to brighten skin &amp; walnut powder to gently exfoliate skin
🧼 Lathers &amp; cleanses skin well without over stripping it
‼️ Pals with cystic acne or sensitised skin might want to give this a miss because it might aggravate your acne
😗 Use it 2&#47;3x per week
🤑 Slightly on the pricier side

😞 Stripping and &quot;super-cleansed&quot; feeling after using the cleanser
👀 No significant changes after using

👍🏻 Thiccc cleanser &amp; foams up well
🤨 Skin loving ingredients are present but there&#39;s peppermint oil in this cleanser... which might be irritating for some 🥵

However, for myself, this ampoule is a little too basic and not a must-have in my routine because I&#39;m using an aloe vera gel as a last step moisturiser to seal up all the goodness on my skin.

✧ Description: This ampoule contains 70% of Aloe Vera Leaf Polysaccharide (Ps: I LOVE ALOE!!) which helps the skin to calm, hydrate and remain moisturised for a long period of time! It is lightweight with a slight viscosity and there&#39;s no scent to it. 

💗 - I use about 2-3 drops on my face after spraying my face with toner. It does sink in to my skin within 30 seconds and I will layer on my other serums that are thicker in consistency (IE: Inkey&#39;s List Q10 Serum or Niacinamide Serum).
- This ampoule is straightforward and basic to fit in anyone&#39;s skincare routine, and it will be a plus point for people that want a simpler routine to start with or fall back on when their skin barrier is compromised! ❤️
