Hydration is a key element in every skincare routine… I took a break from my actives and decided to focus on hydration and water retention for my skin .. Hydrated skin is healthy skin. Your skin thrives when it’s properly hydrated.. Hydration helps with the appearance of your skin.. If your skin is dehydrated, your skin needs to rest from all actives , make sure to incorporate hydrating products that have ceramides, hyaluronic acid , panthenol , glycerin , beta glucan and so on. Product review time!!! Simple clear oil skin balancing moisturizer 

CLAIMS: 
Helps to maintain skin's moisture levels throughout the day, whilst gently absorbing excess oil and mattifying skin.

It has a lightweight texture that does not leave my skin feeling oily or greasy…

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: 
As we all know , products from the simple brand are known for affordability, accessibility and effectiveness. I got this product when I needed  an oil free moisturizer in my routine and this product caught my attention… I love the fact that it has ZINC PCA which is a  great Ingredient for oily skin types… It helps to reduce excess sebum production and mattifies the skin.
This product right here is a good one but it didn’t live up to my expectations!!  The product has a lightweight texture that  does not feel thick or heavy on my skin… It is fragrance free which makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin like me (remember to do a patch test too) It  blends into my skin easily,  helped with hydration and  didn’t clog my pores.  Sadly! It didn’t help with my excess oil production at all , it only reduced the shine a little which wasn’t what I was expecting! I expected more you know ! But Yeah! I’m actually glad it helped to hydrate my skin and It didn’t break me out as I have a sensitive skin! This is a good product for blemish prone skin as it has ingredients that fight blemishes… 

WOULD I REPURCHASE?
No I won’t! Please don’t get me wrong , I never said this product is bad… Just because it didn’t work for me do not mean it work for you…. Remember skincare is personal! I won’t be repurchasing because I’m on the look out for an oil free moisturizer that would just be perfect for my skin😊

Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum is a lightweight serum that is said to improve the appearance of age spots, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. It is a treatment serum that can be used both morning and night before your moisturizer. This serum contains 2% Tranexamic acid to help fade hyperpigmentation—and 4% niacinamide that works to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, texture, dullness, and pores.

EXPERIENCE
Note: I have an oily acne prone sensitive skin so this review is based on my personal experience.. The serum has a thick texture that feels lightweight on the skin and doesn’t leave the skin sticky…It has no noticeable scent and I haven’t had any issue with the serum. It didn’t sting my eyes and it layers well with other products.. I was interested in the serum because I was looking for products to tackle my hyperpigmentation and excess oil production.. To be very honest with you, I noticed my hyperpigmentation slightly started fading off, my overall complexion looks brighter and my skin tone became even… I also noticed the serum helped to reduce  my excess oil production! I saw results in a month and I used it consistently AM and PM. It faded some of my acne scars.   Will I repurchase? Yes!

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 
Everybody gather here! Let me tell you a little story! When I started my Skincare journey , I didn’t know over exfoliation could lead to a damaged skin barrier 🥹🥹 I was using a chemical exfoliant every night… little did I know that my skin barrier already said bye bye 😂 It was two weeks after I overexfoliated that I found out my skin barrier was really damaged.. I had eczema flare ups , itchy skin , burning sensation when water & any skincare product comes in contact with my skin( my skin was going through it) baby girl cried because I thought I was doing something right not knowing it was the opposite . Then the journey began, I made a lot of research! I found out I needed to focus on repairing  my skin barrier than any thing… on this fateful day , I was making a research on hydrating products to include in my routine, Then boom!!! I saw this product , I was skeptical at first because I thought I’d react to the snail muccin but this baby right here proved me wrong! This was my saviour when I damaged my skin barrier as at July…  With every day use  of this snail essence, my skin got hydrated,  plump , healthy and was able to strengthen its barrier. It became  a staple in my skincare routine and I can boldly say it’s my “HOLY GRAIL”. If there’s one product that improved my skin health, then this is it! 
 Applying it  on damp skin ensures better penetration.. Please do a patch test of this product to be sure your skin isn’t allergic to snail muccin.. Note: This  product do not  fade hyperpigmentation at all! It’s an hydrating product!

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 
If there’s one skincare product that I’ve fallen in love with in this journey , it has to be SUNSCREEN.. Recently . I have been struggling with reapplication especially when I’m outside so I decided to get a sunstick. I’ve actually been  looking for a good sunstick for some time now. Then Boom! I saw this , this is actually the  first sun stick that do not have a strong smell as my skin is sensitive to that… My skin gave me the go ahead after first usage. 

I really like how easy this glides on the skin, it’s super lightweight and it’s great for sunscreen reapplication.. It doesn’t leave a greasy but a slight dewy finish. I love this sunstick because you  don’t have to use your hands to reapply , it contains hyaluronic acid which helps with hydration. I swipe the stick back and forth multiple times to ensure I have an adequate  amount of the  sunscreen on my face to be sure I’m fully protected! It doesn’t leave a white cast so be rest assured…  It’s great for all skin types even oily skin..
Note: I have an oily /sensitive skin and my skin loves it… 

Review of the @nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Cream 

This moisturizer is enriched with Vitamin E and Jojoba extract, it spreads easily and is quickly absorbed for refreshingly soft and supple skin all day long. 

This is the first time I’m trying a moisturizer from this brand and I wasn’t disappointed. I love the fact that this moisturizer is a multipurpose one , it can be used on the face , body and hands.. The best part about this moisturizer is that it is very light textured and fluffy in consistency like whipped cream. 

I fell in love with it the moment I applied it on my skin. It absorbs easily into the skin and doesn’t leave any  greasiness. It gives a very refreshed and hydrated feel on application.

It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and didn’t clog my pores at all.. One thing I didn’t really like about this moisturizer is the packaging, you have to use a spatula to be able to dispense.. 

The size(200ml) and the quantity is worth the price.. Easily accessible and affordable.. I enjoyed using this moisturizer on my body, face and hands..
