Hi guys! I think the skin barrier is not talked about enough in skincare, this right here is what I feel is the most important because when it is ruptured, there’s no point of applying treatments for any skin concerns because it has to be fixed first…
What can cause the skin barrier to get ruptured? 
Over exfoliating is one thing that can get the barrier damaged, it’ll cause the skin to lose the ability to retain moisture thereby leading to rough, red, dehydrated and patchy skin! 
One way to to fix it is to remove all active ingredients from your routine and focus on hydration and moisturizing, letting your skin draw and retain all the moisture it is lost will strengthen your barrier again.
Also keep your routine simple and focus on just a gentle cleanser, an hydrating essence, moisturizer and a moisturizing sunscreen…

Cheers to the new month guys 🎉 Lets begin the month with this super late review of the Dr. Ceuracle’s Pure VC Mellight Set.

I got this product from picky and Dr Ceuracle in exchange for my honest review 

🌾Pure VC Mellight Boosting Essence: I was taken aback by the bubble formula at first and I had to double check it’s not a wash😂anyways the bubble formula transformed into an hydrating and fine texture providing intense moisture as shown in the video, this essence contains glutathione and tranexamic acid that target uneven tone.


Cons: I have no bad review about this product and it has been my holy grail serum for treating hyperpigmentation for two years.

***REVIEW OF GOOD MOLECULES DISCOLORATION CORRECTING SERUM 2.0 ***

✨Packaging- This serum is 30ml sized, comes in a bottle and has a dropper for easy application on the skin, like most serums I prevent the dropper from touching my face in order to avoid the spread of bacteria that might be on the face to the serum.
✨Tested on- I have a combination skin type so this review is based on my personal experience only.
✨First Impression- Well, my first thing I noticed about this product was its key ingredient, tranexamic acid which is my favorite ingredient in treating hyperpigmentation.
✨Texture- This serum is lightweight and I love how it absorbs easily into my skin and penetrates deep into my pores, it leaves no residue after application.
✨Ingredients - The two key ingredients in this product are cetyl tranexamate which is derivative of tranexamic acid and Niacinamide, the former helps fade discoloration and the latter niacinamide which is a great antioxidant has proven to reduce the appearance of acne marks, fine lines and wrinkles.
✨Usage: As much as this product have amazing ingredients, it’s also important to follow it up with appropriate usage of sunscreen in order to block UV radiation from causing more discolorations, as with any hyperpigmentation treatment, the proper use of SPF is important.
✨Application: I apply a full dropper on my face, ears and neck in order to promote the even tone I’m trying to achieve.

Hi guys! Try out the @heimish_cosmetic all clean balm with me…this is also my first time trying out a cleansing balm.

First, I must say I like the packaging and the fact that it comes with a spatula for easy application. 
It’s got a gentle scent and doesn’t have a harsh or overwhelming fragrance. 
I love the texture, it’s lightweight and dissolved easily on my skin, I’m actually impressed by how smooth it felt on my skin.
I love that it doesn’t foam wildly when you emulsify and I love the feel after rinsing off.
I am going to try this again when I have makeup on and share my thoughts…this is pretty good for breaking down sebum, layers of sunscreen and cleansing background dirt trapped in the pores.

☀️Personal experience: I wasn’t expecting the texture to be so watery actually but the advantage to that is the quick absorption, I experienced stinging around my eyes the first time I used and I’ve been careful to let it around my eyes since then, I don’t think I love the sticky finish I’ll prefer to go with a glossy glowy finish…the acohol smell isn’t a problem cause I’m so used to chemical sunscreens already…about protection it actually gives an utmost protection against UVA & UVB rays.
I also love the fact that this sunscreen contains antioxidants…love the lightweight texture which makes it absorb fast, leaves no residue and white cast which is a major factor I look out for in all sunscreens.

Let’s talk about the @bentoncosmetic guava skin toner mask pad 😍

I’m a sucker for toners and seeing this come as a mask pad is a plus plus .

These pads contain 70% guava leaves extracts, panthenol and ceramides to help soothe inflamed, irritated skin, dullness  and redness.

I also love applying evenly in my face and getting the most out of it by extending application to my hands and neck cause they also need hydration as well.

How to use: There’s a picker in the pack which I forgot to use btw, pick the pads with the picker and layer on irritated area of your skin and leave on for 5-10 minutes, remove and apply evenly on other parts of your skin that needs hydration.
