Hi! So I was wondering if it is okay to use sunscreen and maybe wait 10-15 minutes for it to absorb then put another different sunscreen on top of it? Will it mess with the previous sunscreen's ability to protect me UV rays?

I'm going to run out of my current niacinamide serum soon, and I'm hoping to try something different. I mainly want results in terms of my hyperpigmentation and pores, so what niacinamide serums have you used that you really saw results in?

Hello! I was wondering what kind of routine you guys do before and after working out. Do you guys wash your face both times or just after? Do you still wear sunscreen while working out? What time do you usually work out or go to the gym?

Pre and Post WORKOUT ROUTINE

There are times where my skin feels dry and dehydrated, and I also want a gentle cleanser to use in the morning when I don't want as much of a deep cleanse. Any recommendations?

Cleansers for dry and dehydrated skin

I recently used this face mask, and left it on for about 30 minutes even though it was only supposed left for 15 minutes, but what's even worse is that I didn't check the date and I only find out the next day that the mask was actually expired. Now I have this weird bumpy texture all over my face. It doesn't sting or itch, and it's only red near my nose. Does anyone have any suggestions or will it just go away after a few days?

I don't think this would be sufficient for drier skin types unless it's summer and/or the environment is humid. However, I think combination and oily skin types would like this.

This also wasn't enough for me to use at night. I would wake up with dehydrated skin whenever I used this at night, mainly because I also sleep with the AC.

I've been eyeing this product for awhile now because it's marketed as a lightweight gel cream. I've tried lots of gel moisturizers that still ended being too heavy for my oily skin, so I was slightly apprehensive in trying this product out, but still eager. 

✨💦Texture/ Consistency:
 If aloe vera was a cream, I'd imagine it would be like this. When it comes out of the tube it looks like a cream, but as soon as you spread it onto your skin, it really feels like a very light and jelly moisturizer. It's easy to spread, and a little goes a long way with it.

✨💦Finish: 
The finish is hydrating and moisturizing, but not heavy or sticky at all on the skin. It takes less than 2 minutes for it to fully absorb and dry down into a natural finish on your skin; it's not dewy or mattifying either. It sits well on top of other skincare products and under sunscreen. 

✨💦Scent: No scent at all

✨💦Performance: 
There is a slight cooling sensation, and it can adequately moisturize and hydrate my skin really well for the whole day. However, it was too light for me to use during the nightime, and the hyaluronic acid would slightly dry out my skin due to the lack of moisture in the air. 

✨💦Some notable ingredients:
Five types of Hyaluronic Acid (consisting of low, medium, and high molecules), Centella Asiatica, Green tea, Licorice, Betaine, Chamomile, and Houttuynia Cordata

✨💦Packaging: It is a simple and light, yet attractive and practical ombre blue tube.

🌱 You need to use moisturizer underneath.
🌱 You cannot use this if you're in a hurry because it's hard to blend.
🌱 Takes awhile to absorb 
🌱 Not a huge fan of reapplying this.
🌱 Kind of difficult to wash off with your cleanser. You'd need an oil cleanser first to really remove it even though it's not waterproof.
🌱 Has a WHITECAST. I tried to justify it as a tone-up effect before, but it actually has a bad whitecast on my olive/medium skin. After about 20 minutes, the cast isn't as noticeable anymore but it's still there and makes me look a bit grey.

🌱 It's not that heavy or sticky. It's actually somewhat lightweight for a mineral sunscreen. 
🌱 It sits nicely on top of other products and doesn't pill. 
🌱 Has a slight herbal scent that goes away quickly. 
🌱 Apart from the UV filters, it has great ingredients like niacinamide, mugwort, and squalane. 
🌱 My skin is comfortable using this even when my barrier is damaged and sensitized.

OLD FORMULA:
The best sunscreen is the sunscreen you like putting on. With a step as important as sunscreen, you shouldn't hate or dread putting it on. I've never had the best experience with sunscreens because they're always heavy, sticky, and leave a white cast on my brown skin. But THIS! SUNSCREEN! IS! AMAZING!  I was initially worried about my skin feeling excessively oily and suffocated after a few hours of wearing the sunscreen, but this doesn't do that. It leaves a semi matte finish, it's light weight, and there's no white cast. Sometimes I use this alone without an initial moisturizer and it doesn't dry me out (might not be the case for everyone though). I also find the ingredients amazing! Im not sure if they're actually soothing/ nourishing my skin, but it definitely doesn't irritate my skin whenever I'm breaking out.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this formulation wise. However,  the problem with this type of concept is that one moisturizer will usually run out first than the other. Moreover, it's not very travel friendly because if the jar is on its side or it's tilted, the moisturizers can sometimes end up spilling to other side and mixing. I also wish they had these as separate products just because I like one side more than the other, and tend to use it up more.

I love the concept of this product! It can be hard to find something that will combination skin types, but this product definitely helps with that problem. Moreover, it's just useful to have 2 moisturizers because you can tailor it to your needs by mixing them up. I personally don't use it the way it's supposed to be used. Instead, I use the T-zone gel for the morning which is honestly perfect. It's so lightweight and hydrating, but has that touch of occlusivity needed in a moisturizer. I'm very picky of moisturizers in the morning since I get oily easily due to my skin type and the humid climate. However, this really takes the cake for me as a daytime moisturizer. I love the fact that it's full of antioxidants, and soothing ingredients which just makes it even more perfect to use in the daytime!

I have nothing bad to say about it. However, you won&#39;t see anything immediately because it works better in the long run.

I was really surprised with this product because it&#39;s so affordable yet it has some stellar ingredients. I wanted something for anti-aging that wasn&#39;t retinol, so I thought to use peptides. I was originally gonna get the Buffet Serum from The Ordinary, but it&#39;s quite pricy in my country, so I got this instead which was 3x cheaper. 

✨ Finish✨: sticky and tacky, but once it&#39;s absorbed, it&#39;s all gone and just leaves you looking well hydrated and plump 🤩

✨ Texture&#47; Viscosity✨: thick and gloopy 

✨Scent✨: it doesn&#39;t have any fragrance or essential oils, but it does have some extracts. However, the scent is pretty much non-existent even for a sensitive nose

✨ Notable Ingredients✨: 
Matrixyl 3000- a peptide complex that stimulates collagen production, promotes elasticity, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8- gives a Botox-like effect

Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, Beta Glucan

It has some plant extracts as well. 

Even with acne, I don&#39;t find that this aggravated it all and actually soothed it sometimes which I think can be attributed to the Aloe juice which is the first ingredient.

🍃 I found the product to be a bit lackluster? If you're not acne prone or redness prone, then you won't notice a difference in your skin.
🍃 Takes awhile for results to show.
🍃 Not that hydrating.
🍃 Quite pricy

I got this product because I noticed that my skin reacts well to mugwort, and the clay mask from the same line did wonders for me.

🍃Texture/ Consistency:
It's a thin and watery serum with a slight green hue.

🍃Finish/ Feel on the Skin: 
It's sinks in really well, and is slightly hydrating. The finish is not sticky, but you can tell something is on your skin especially if it's layered above other products. However, it's not noticeable after a minute or two, so it's easy to use even in a hot and humid climate (which is where I stay in). It also layers well other products placed before and after it.

🍃Scent: 
None.

🍃Packaging: 
It's an ombre green glass dropper bottle. The glass seems thick and sturdy (not easily cracked) based on my experience of dropping it several times. However, it's quite heavy and since it's glass, it's not very travel friendly.

🍃 Some notable ingredients:
Mugwort extract, Licorice root extract, Panthenol, Calendula extract, Allantoin

🍃Performance: 
This product calmed down any redness and irritation I was experiencing. However, don't expect it to work overnight. It was with consistent use that I saw improvement with the state of my skin. It didn't really help with getting rid of pimples, but it helped soothe them and made them look less angry. 

🍃Additional thoughts:
I really like that the product doesn't have any actives because I can use it alongside any product and it won't sensitize my skin more or counteract with another ingredient.
